Carabobo adds 42 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours

This Tuesday, September 15, Carabobo doubled the cases of coronavirus infections compared to the previous day, with 42 new patients, according to Delcy Rodríguez through his account on the social network Twitter.

These infections are part of the total of 991 cases of community transmission of COVID-19 and 95 imported that were detected in the last 24 hours, by the Venezuelan health authorities, reported the VTV.

The total number of infections amounts to 62 thousand 655, of which 50 thousand 361 have recovered satisfactorily, which is equivalent to 80 percent of the cases.

Regarding the cases of community transmission, he explained that they focused on:

  • Bolivar: 217 new cases.
  • Capital district: 154 new cases in 21 of the 22 parishes of the capital, concentrating the largest number of cases in: El Valle with 45, Sucre (Catia) with 16, San Juan with 12 and Santa Rosalía with 11.
  • Miranda: 96 new cases.
  • New Sparta: 79 new cases.
  • Aragua: 75 new cases.
  • Falcon: 73 new cases.
  • Lara: 60 new cases.
  • Carabobo: 42 new cases.
  • Merida: 38 new cases.
  • La Guaira: 33 new cases.
  • Yaracuy: 31 new cases.
  • Delta Amacuro: 29 new cases.
  • Zulia: 26 new cases.
  • Hurry: 16 new cases.
  • Táchira: 13 new cases.
  • Portuguese: 7 new cases.

Of the imported cases, it indicated that 80 are from Colombia, 9 from Brazil, 4 from Peru and 2 from Ecuador.

Until this Tuesday there 11 my 792 active cases, of which 7,501 are in hospitals, 3,951 are in Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI) and 340 in private clinics.

As for the deceased, the list increases with eight new victims of the COVID-19 infection in the last hours, which passes to 502 deaths.

They are two men aged 55 and 41 from the state Táchira, two men of 49 and 65 years of Aragua, a 69-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man from the state Miranda, a 68-year-old man from Guarico and a 66-year-old man from Hurry.
