ProSieben and its television self-torture are slowly but surely heading towards the end. Before “The Big Celebrity Penance” crowns the celebrity with the most effective TV catharsis in the next episode and rewards her with 50,000 euros, the debt waiver stepped in Olivia Jones however back to action. In the martially baptized “Round of Shame”, three celebrities had to admit their sins this time. Also present: scandal athletes Daniel Kollererwho filled pages of tabloid media with nasty freaks and insults during his tennis career.
The otherwise eloquent ex-athlete meekly regretted that he was sorry for having embarrassed his parents: “I made a mistake verbally. These are things that I am deeply ashamed of today.” A turning point in his life only set in when his daughter was born, says Köllerer. After a difficult time, including a tennis ban and the death of his mother, his “lifesaver” gave him hope for a light at the end of the tunnel.
“She saved me from going to my mom,” stammered the 38-year-old. He is now a different person, no longer “the biggest asshole in the world,” assured Koellerer. That sounded convincing to Olivia Jones, which is why she closed the penance philosophically: “Here you have to learn to lose above all. That’s what makes you a winner.”

Great regret about one’s own transgressions also brought Mounted Ennesto, the self-declared “scandal noodle” of the German TV landscape. The refined reality TV star summed up that he was “a big, big egoist”. In the past, his mother’s illness and his brother’s incarceration meant that he “didn’t let anyone near him,” Monté recalled.
“I didn’t care if I lived or died,” the 47-year-old resorted to drastic words. Only with alcohol and the satisfaction of his sex addiction did he have moments when he “really enjoyed” his life. Ultimately, these misconduct also led to his wife abandoning him. “The worst thing is that you can’t make up for these mistakes anymore,” Monté felt sorry for himself.

His producer hit his mother, as the 27-year-old explained. Then there were tears too. After another freak out on a TV show, he realized that he wanted to change: “I saw how blatantly my girlfriend was ashamed of me, I will never forget that.”
Despite all the emotional confessions of her fellow campaigners, too Elena Miras her big performance. A daredevil challenge in which the stars had to rappel down a bridge pier proved to be a Herculean task for the 30-year-old reality TV savvy. Panicked, she gasped because of her fear of heights: “You can kill me if you do something wrong.” Calvin Kleinen and Daniele Negroni assured – ultimately rightly – that nothing would happen. Nevertheless, Miras whimpered when she hit the ground again: “I can hardly breathe.” Otherwise, all candidates checked the task more or less without complaint and thus escaped a penalty.

So should it be a harmonious show without any points of friction? Not quite. The alpha animals Calvin Kleinen and Daniel Köllerer caused Zoff at the end of the edition of “The Big Celebrity Penance”. An endurance competition brought out old sides in the latter when he put his competitors in their place like a high school teacher. Kleinen acknowledged the overzealousness of his adversary annoyed (“Shut up, man!”) and then also ensured that Koellerer was out.
