Cheon Sangmu Kim wins 4-0 against Jeju

(Daily Daegu Gyeongbuk News = Reporter Hwang Ji-hyeon) Kim Cheon Sang-mu’s undefeated streak that started in the Jeju match ended in the Jeju match.

Gimcheon Sangmu Professional Football Team (CEO Bae Nak-ho) won the home match 4-0 against 20R Jeju United at ‘Hana One Q K League 1 2022’ held at 7 pm on July 5 at the Gimcheon Sports Complex.

Cheon Kim faced Jeju in a 4-3-3 formation. Kim Ji-hyeon, Jo Kyu-seong, and Kwon Chang-hoon took the first line, and the second line was organized by Lee Young-jae, Kwon Hyuk-gyu, and Han Chan-hee. The four-back line was composed by Kim Han-gil, Jeong Seung-hyun, Yeon Je-woon, and Kang Yun-seong, and Koo Koo-yun kept the goal.

The first half started with Kim Cheon’s lead, and both teams opened their doors to each other with sharp attacks. In Jeju, Jumin-gyu and Gerso aimed at the goal of Gimcheon in turn, and Gimcheon-do responded with Jo Kyu-seong and Kim Ji-hyun’s attack line.

As the fierce battle continued, it was Kim Cheon’s share of the opening goal. In the 16th minute of the first half, Cho Kyu-seong, who received a pass from Kwon Chang-hoon at the doorstep, attempted a shot, and Lee Young-jae pushed the ball out of the goal to open the scoring. In the 44th minute, Gimcheon Kim Ji-hyeon beat the Jeju defender and put a shot into the corner of the goal to score an additional goal, ending the first half 2-0.

At the start of the second half, Kang Yun-seong also threatened Jeju’s goal with a sharp shot. In the 25th minute of the second half, Joo-Gong Kim’s strong shot towards the goal was blocked by goalkeeper Koo Sung-Yoon’s reflexes. Shortly thereafter, Chun Kim made his first substitution. He added Park Sang-hyeok instead of Kwon Chang-hoon to enhance his speed. In the 33rd minute of the second half, Jo Kyu-seong was removed and Myung Jun-jae was added. As if to prove Kim Tae-wan’s mercenary skills, Myung Joon-jae led the opponent’s own goal immediately after entering the game and took a 3-0 lead. Then, in 6 minutes, he once again shook the goal net of Jeju and won 4-0.

After the match, coach Kim Tae-wan said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the players who worked hard in the hot weather even if they were still. Today’s victory is all thanks to the players. I will start happy soccer again.”

Meanwhile, Gimcheon will play against Gangwon FC at 7:30 pm on the 8th at Chuncheon Songam Sports Town.
