At the end of last year, the Bureau of Investigation noticed that about 20 accounts appeared on the well-known website “Cartino Forum”, which frequently published domestic epidemic and political-related false information, such as “The villagers broke the news that the high-end phase II trial had serious side effects, but the high-end asked to keep it confidential”, “High-end murder evidence”, “high-end fight, 6 people died in 5 days” and other sensational texts, and alleging that “Chen Shizhong knew that there were adverse reactions in high-end trials, and still forced high-end to go online.”
Moreover, these published articles quoted many screenshots from PTT articles. The page format and language are all in the tone of domestic villagers, which convinced many domestic netizens, and then forwarded and shared them. However, the Bureau of Investigation found that these accounts that spread false information were all registered using disposable, throwaway mobile phone numbers, as well as email mailboxes bought from the black market, and the registered mobile phone numbers were all from overseas. Fake accounts from “foreign hostile forces”.
At the press conference of the command center today, some media asked Chen Shizhong’s views on the case.
