Christopher Bell en pole au Kansas

Christopher Bell takes pole position for the thirteenth event of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway.

For the third time this season, Christopher Bell took pole position in the NASCAR Cup Series, during the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver joins Ryan Blaney as the driver with the most poles in the NASCAR Cup Series this season.

Christopher Bell took pole position with a lap of 30.071 seconds at 179.575 mph in the second phase of qualifying. The #20 Toyota Camry driver will share the front row of the starting grid with Tyler Reddick. Kyle Larson and rookie Austin Cindric will be on the second row.

Several incidents occurred during practice and qualifying. Chris Buescher made a mistake following a puncture in the front left. He will have to use his reserve car for the race and will therefore start from the back of the field.

Cody Ware made a mistake during practice, Ryan Blaney also suffered a puncture. Denny Hamlin, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Joey Logano also had problems during tryouts.
