This Saturday shortly after noon, two cars collided at the Hittelet crossroads in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre. According to initial findings, a white Seat was stopped at a red light in the direction of Namur when it was hit by another car from behind.
The collision was particularly impressive for the witnesses present on the spot. Quickly, an ambulance from the Val de Sambre area intervened on the spot. The Seat driver was pregnant and had her little sister in the car. In view of her condition, the driver was immediately taken care of.
The accident caused a traffic jam as the two wrecked cars were blocking the right-hand lane. The police in the Jemeppe-sur-Sambre area intervened for the usual reports.
