And in the USA Honda found a new use for the Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) plant, where it was recently assembled last Acura NSX supercar. Already in 2024, this factory will begin small-scale production of a hydrogen version of the crossover Honda CR-V. It will be an electric car with the ability to recharge the battery from a socket and an additional electrochemical generator on board. The Honda CR-V is now available in the US market in both petrol and hybrid versions, with details on the CR-V FCEV version coming closer to the start of production.

Production volume of electric crossovers Ford Mustang Mach-E reached 150 thousand copies. The premiere of the model took place in the fall of 2019, and production in Mexico began at the end of 2020. Subsequently, the release was also organized in China. Now the Mustang Mach-E is sold in 37 countries around the world – most recently Brazil, Argentina and New Zealand joined this list. The pace of production continues to grow: in 2023, Ford plans to produce 270,000 electric Mustangs, and the total circulation of electric vehicles of the company next year should be 600,000 units.

According to Car & Driver, in 2025 General Motors will make Corvette independent brand, separating it from the Chevrolet brand. In addition to the mid-engined supercar now sold under the name Chevrolet Corvette (pictured), and his hybrid version (the debut is expected very soon) the range of the new brand will include a four-door coupe and a powerful crossover. These machines will be united by design and enviable dynamic performance. There is no official confirmation of these plans yet, but three years ago the head of GM Mary Barra did not rule out the possibility of creating a separate Corvette brand.

Cars with internal combustion engines cost between $8,700 and $17,900, but electric versions will be more expensive: the start of sales in China is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.

The company’s property would later be auctioned off to pay off debts. The Chinese concern Foton undertook the revival of the old German brand Borgward, the first model was presented in 2015. But things were not going as well as investors expected, and in 2018, 67% of the shares redeemed Chinese company UCar Group, later increasing its share to 75.2%. In 2019, a sales record was set (45,000 cars in China), but after that, all the cards were confused by the pandemic, which hit UCar hard. All this led to a halt in production and bankruptcy.
