The estates of Valangin, Cormondrèche, Cressier and the Hôtel DuPeyrou now welcome couples from the capital to celebrate their civil nuptials.
This is one of the advantages of the recent merger of municipalities around Neuchâtel. The inhabitants of the capital now have access to certain exceptional sites to celebrate their civil nuptials, the city said on Thursday. This is particularly the case for the estates of Valangin, Cormondrèche, Cressier and Hôtel DuPeyrou. Unions will be celebrated on Saturdays, upon registration and as long as the health situation permits.
Until now, for people living in the city of Neuchâtel, the official celebration was only possible during the week, most often at the Town Hall. This opens up new perspectives for what is sometimes considered the happiest day of a lifetime. “This new offer is very encouraging, because it makes it possible to respond even more to the wishes of the bride and groom,” said the President of the City Violaine Blétry-de Montmollin. Lovers, hurry: places and dates are limited.
