With this figure, the weight Mexican accumulates 4 consecutive days with losses, generating from yesterday, June 15, 2021, a loss of 14.40 cents, which is equivalent to 0.71 percent.
The depreciation of the peso was a direct impact on the second day of the monetary policy meeting of the United States Federal Reserve (FED).
During the day today the US currency registered a maximum price of 20.3927 pesos and a minimum of 19.9525 pesos.

The dollar
Regarding the FED meeting, there were not many surprises regarding the monetary policy that the US Central Bank will continue to maintain.
The interest rate will persist in a range between 0 percent and 0.25 percent.
Although, during his press conference, the president of the central bank, Jerome Powell, detailed that there were some discussions about the possibility of reducing the bond purchase program.
For this reason, Powell assured that in the coming weeks these talks will be resumed to analyze these proposals.
Finally, Banxico reported that the Dollar Index (DXY), which measures the strength of the dollar against others, gained 0.64 percent to 91.12 points.
