Club Brugge win the derby 4-0 against Cercle

Cercle Brugge created the first opportunity through Dino Hotic, who infiltrated the defense and stole his ball, which finished above the goal (5th).

In the 37th minute, alone in front of the goalkeeper, Andreas Skov Olsen did not fit his shot. The Dane redeemed himself a few minutes later, when served by Ferran Jutgla, he crossed his attempt well, leaving no chance to Radoslaw Majecki (43rd).

At the start of the second half, the Cercle came close to equalizing when Kevin Denkey’s attempt grazed the post (55th).

A few minutes later, on a cross from Skov Olsen, Jean Marcelin threw himself to get ahead of Jutgla, but he sent the ball into his own net (2-0, 59th).

The Club then rolled out. Casper Nielsen, on receiving a back pass from Antonio Nusa, scored the third goal (67th).

Coming into the game in the 63rd minute, Roman Yaremchuk scored in his first match in the blauw-zwart jersey with a slightly deflected shot from the entrance to the rectangle, fixing the score at 4-0 (82nd).

The Club, 16 points, signs a fourth success in a row and climbs to second place, two lengths behind Antwerp. The Circle, 5 points, remains in 16th position after a series of five games without a win.
