MIAMI.- Some rain is expected this Friday, mainly in the morning, before the arrival of a cold front, which will leave low temperatures during the Christmas weekend in South Florida.

For this Friday, the minimum temperatures in the morning will be in the mid-range of 60°F, while the maximum will reach or slightly exceed 80°F in the afternoon.

And it is precisely towards the afternoon when the weather conditions are expected to improve, with some clouds, but without heavy rain.

Overnight, the intense cold front is expected to begin to leave low temperatures in South Florida starting this Saturday, on Christmas Eve.

The current trend shows minimum temperatures for the weekend of December 24 and 25 in the 40°F and 50°F in the southeast Florida counties, while the maximum will be in the mid and low 60°F range. So get your coats ready for the holidays.

Saturday morning will see temperatures in the mid-40°F range, but the wind that will be present will create a wind chill near the mid-high 30°F range. A low wind chill warning has been issued for all of Palm Beach County and western Broward County for Saturday morning. The wind could reach gusts of up to 25 mph.

On Saturday afternoon, the highs will reach the high range of 50°F or 60°F and by Sunday expect slightly lower temperatures and a chance of seeing showers of at least 40%.
