The current situation
The municipal council of Crans-Montana now has 11 members, namely 4 PLR, 4 PDC, 1 MDC, 1 AdG and 1 UDC. The citizens of the municipality agreed in June to reduce the number of representatives on the executive to 7 as of the 2021-2025 legislature.
The stake of this election is therefore to see to what extent the cards will be redistributed. The PDC and the PLR now share the majority. Will it be the same this Sunday evening? While the PLR presents four candidates including two advisers in place, including President Nicolas Féraud, the PDC presents three candidates including the outgoing Laurent Bagnoud.
In 2016, 7 of the 11 elected came from the former commune of Chermignon. Will the Chermignonards vote again en masse for theirs? Will there be an anti-Chermignon vote in other parts of the town? The games are open.
The results of all candidates will be published here at the end of the recount.
