Euseglimar González | LARA’S PRESS.- Five men were arrested by officials of the Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group (GAES), attached to Conas-Lara, for being some “highway pirates” and being involved in robberies in the northern Beltway.
Yasmil Orlando Murillo, Victor Gerardo Montes de Oca, Luis Brando Mariño, Robert Uben Montes de Oca and Euclides Epifanio Vargas, they were arrested on Saturday in the Andrés Eloy Blanco neighborhood, west of Barquisimeto.
In November, allegedly, around seven men used firearms and under death threats detained a truck that was passing through the northern Beltway at the height of the Manto de la Divina Pastora, that night the thugs robbed the victims of 9 thousand dollars , eleven new batteries for cars and a cell phone, after the fact the thugs fled and the people got into the truck and continued their route.
The victims reported what happened to the GAES and after several days of investigations the uniformed officers managed to find five men, allegedly linked to the robbery and are on the trail of two more.
