Concept store, restaurants, Corsican grocery store… The shops in the Antibes eco-district are taking shape

They served their first bagels at the end of February, but celebrated their opening this Saturday evening, March 25. Amel Akar and Pierre-Antoine Siame, the two managers of Bagelstein de Marenda-Lacan, welcomed their relatives, supporters and local merchants around mini-bagels and small pastries, at the start of the evening.

The opportunity to liven up the street a bit, present the products of the first shop opened in the eco-district and chat with their future neighbours.

From a restaurant to a concept store

Right in front of them is a concept store called Oh May, which will open its doors at the end of April. “There will be ready-to-wear, decoration, funny objects… only ethical and European brands”list Tiffany, the co-founder.

She embarked on this adventure with Christopher… and it’s not their first affair. They were both at the helm of Tiffany’s Kitchen, in Juan-les-Pins. A restaurant that offered dishes cooked with organic products grown in the region.

Next to Bagelstein, the future owners of a grocery store selling Corsican products, which must bear the name of A.Serena, have just collected their keys. “We are going to start the work, we must open by May 31”smiles the manager.

Restaurants, cosmetics, clothing…

And all around them, storefronts continue to complement each other. On the rue Championnet side, the restaurant Nananère is advertised (whose e-mail address is the same as that of Le Petit crate). Next to it is still the Ferni restaurant.

Opposite La Poste, we are in cosmetics with Rituals and Avril. On the Lacan crossing, it’s diversified: yogurt ice cream from Yogurt Factory, household linen and decoration with Olivier Desforges, the Oh May concept store and Atlante Lacan, which should sell clothes and accessories.

Opposite the cinema, nothing has changed, we are still waiting for the opening of the Piperno pizzeria and Côté Sushi.
