Many concerts will punctuate this month of June in the city, between concerts and the return of the Terrasses en fête.
In June, the notes of music will resound everywhere in the city. This month of June will indeed be marked in the city by the great return of concerts. And there will be something for everyone.

From June 2, two beautiful concerts will be offered. One at the Chapelle-Royale, at 9 p.m., with the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra which will play “L’Italie baroque”. The Orchestra wanted to bring together the greatest Italian Baroque composers here in a program that allows us to measure all their inventiveness. This concert is organized as part of the 2022 musical season at the Cultural Meeting Center of the Abbey of Sylvanès. Then, that same day, at the Saint-Amans church, at 8:30 p.m., the Sainte-Marie Aveyron establishments are organizing a benefit concert for the Red Cross in favor of Ukraine, which will be given by Adèle Ginestet, viola , Anna Sypniewski, viola and Clément Rataud, piano.

Still in the classical register, the cathedral will host Friday, June 10, at 8:30 p.m., the choir and soloists of the Prague Opera and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Czech Republic will perform Mozart’s Requiem. Since 2009, already more than 500,000 music lovers across Europe have attended this exceptional concert.
The next day, on a different note, Place Foch will host an exceptional concert. That of Orange Blossom. Nourished by oriental influences, Orange Blossom has combined rock with electronic sounds for 25 years and draws its inspiration from exploring the rich sound of the African, European and South American continents. This show will be directed by François Delarozière of the Cie des Machines. Enough to ensure an exceptional atmosphere. In the first part, it is the group “Dervish Tandances” with its evolving music and its Tanoura dance.

This month of June will also mark the great return of the Terrasses en fête! Le Grand Café and O Ptit Bonheur will open the ball on June 10, with the groups No Reso and PP Prunes respectively. La Pachole, le Coq de la Place will gear up during the month of June.
Month of June which will also be that of the Faubourg festival, with among others the programming of the groups KB Kiss, Mr Zanzibar or Diane Rouergate on Sunday June 5th. And since we are talking about celebrations, if June will be the funfair at Val de Bourran (from 3 to 28) it will also be that of… the music festival! On June 21, as usual, the city will become a veritable anthill moving to the rhythms of the musicos.

It’s a month that promises to be well paced, what’s more if we add the musicals that are scheduled (Phenix at the MJC on June 10 and Chat So at the Conservatory on June 29 at 3:30 p.m.) or the dance school galas that will follow one another in the amphitheater. Valentine Massif on June 11, with her show “Cendrillon”, the Nadège Cayron dance school on June 18 with Billy Eliott and the Edwina Costecalde dance school with “Mama Mia” on July 2.
