Kochi: After three days of questioning, actor Dileep’s anticipatory bail petition will be considered by the high court today. The details of Dileep’s 33-hour interrogation will be submitted to the Crime Branch court, which will ask for Dileep’s custody.
The High Court had today stayed the arrest of Dilip’s co – accused brother Anoop, sister’s husband Suraj and driver Appu. The Crime Branch was allowed to question them for three days.
The crime branch has registered a case against the actress for allegedly conspiring to kill the investigating officers in the abduction, assault and torture case. In this case, anticipatory bail is sought.
Rafi and Arun Gopi heard the conversation between Dileep and his team recorded by director P Balachandrakumar. Crime Branch SP Mohanachandran said that this is part of sending the voice sample for scientific testing. Dileep’s brother Anoop and brother – in – law Suraj were interrogated separately. Balachandra Kumar had revealed that the two had intervened to influence witnesses. He was questioned to confirm that he had been involved in money and sports. The crime branch will also look into Suraj’s source of income.
As part of the investigation, the team brought in directors Rafi and Arun Gopi, the manager of Dileep’s production company Grand Productions and two other employees to the crime branch office.
