Jeonbuk Hyundai Advisor Park Ji-sung expressed his position on the condolences of former Incheon United manager Yoo Sang-cheol.

According to the Dong-A Ilbo on the 9th, Kim Byung-ji, vice president of the Korea Football Association, who attended the ceremony of former coach Yoo Sang-cheol’s birthday ceremony, said, “Advisor Park Ji-sung in England contacted me directly and said, ‘I’m sorry I could not attend. When Park Ji-sung visits Korea soon, he plans to visit Jindalae Memorial Park in Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, where the grave of former director Yoo is located.

On the 7th, the sad news that former director Yoo, who had been fighting cancer after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, died. Afterwards, some netizens continued to criticize the deceased and why they did not pay tribute to Park Ji-sung, a colleague of the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.

Park Ji-sung, who was staying in London, England with his family, could not be with Yoo on his last trip. This is because according to the quarantine guidelines for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), even if you enter Korea, you must self-quarantine for two weeks.

However, from the 8th, some fans commented on various online communities and the YouTube channel ‘Kim Min-ji’s dumplings’ run by former SBS announcer Kim Min-ji, wife of Ji-sung Park.

In response, former announcer Kim posted on the YouTube community on the 9th, “I’m sorry, but I don’t like taking pictures for verification and displaying them.”
