Three New Orleans Pelicans players have tested positive for Covid-19, franchise executive vice president David Griffin announced on Tuesday. The manager did not reveal the identity of the players, but said they had been isolated and could only find the team after two days of negative tests. Griffin has also indicated that he will join the team in Orlando, Fla. Where the NBA season is scheduled to resume on July 30.
As for the Denver Nuggets, they closed their training facility after testing positive from two team members. The Nuggets are scheduled to fly to Florida on July 7 to prepare for the resumption of the season. Last week, the NBA announced that 16 of 302 players were in their fortnight after testing positive for Covic-19.
