Manama, Bahrain – The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that Issue No. 1957 ((ISIN BH0002211470) of the monthly government treasury bills issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been covered.
The value of this issue is BD 35 million for a maturity period of 182 days starting on March 26, 2023 and ending on September 24, 2023. The interest rate on these bills was 5.99% compared to the interest rate of 6.13% for the previous issue on February 26, 2023.
The average discount rate reached 97.058%, and the lowest participation price was accepted at 97.008%, noting that the issue was covered by 162%.
The outstanding balance of treasury bills with this issuance amounted to BD 2.010 billion.
