The Covid-19 killed 15 new patients in Occitanie. Between this Friday and Tuesday, the dates of the last situation updates from the Occitanie Regional Health Agency, 15 additional patients died from Covid-19. In total, the virus has killed 5,106 people in our region.
In detail, the ARS recorded 2 deaths in Ariège, 1 in Aude, 3 in Haute-Garonne, 1 in Hérault, 1 in Lozère, 2 in Hautes-Pyrénées, 2 in Pyrénées-Orientales and 3 in the Tarn. In the other departments of the region, no additional deaths have occurred.
Hospitals and clinics in Occitanie currently treat 892 people. In three days, 82 patients were discharged from the hospital. At the same time, 238 people are in intensive care. Eight people have left the intensive care unit since last Tuesday.
678 positive cases per day on average
The virus is still present in Occitania. 678 positive cases have been recorded per day on average since last Friday. Health Insurance recorded 4,745 cases between September 10 and September 16. In seven days, nearly 325,000 tests were performed in the region. 1.6% were positive.
72.6% of 12-17 year olds vaccinated
