The Smilegate studio, in charge of the development of the ‘shooter’ video game CrossfireX, has announced that the launch of the title delayed to 2021 due to Covid-19.
CrossfireX was one of the most anticipated games for new Xbox Series X y Series S and its release date was originally scheduled for this year.
Now, the company has announced that the launch will be delayed to next year due to challenges the development team has faced due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“After much deliberation and considering the challenges the Smilegate development team faces due to Covid-19, we have made the difficult decision to delay the launch of CrossfireX until 2021“the title team noted.” Changing our release will allow us to offer the experience Crossfire on the console that our team set out to create, “he added.

CrossfireX was one of the few exclusive proprietary titles from Xbox Series X y Series S, the new generation game consoles that were launched on last November 10, expected to play in 2020, after the delay was announced of the launch of the video game Halo Infinite.
