The one who will remain one of the little sensations of the Devolver conference at the Summer Game Fest teaches us today the basics of a sect that will, for sure, bear fruit!

Wherever he goes, Cult of the Lamb exercises this magnetic power that makes us capsize! The game had us bewitched when it was revealed on the occasion of the 2021 edition of Gamescom. However, we had to wait a few months to learn more about him because it was only in February that the cult allowed itself to be approached and, immediately, he managed to capture our attention. It must be said that behind his angelic air, the little lamb that we embody has a sacred charisma of a guru and we can’t wait to attend his speech which, let’s remember, will take place next August.
It is the Devolver editor who confirmed it himself during his digital show organized as part of the Summer Game Fest. Moreover, it is very clearly part titles that fascinated us the most during the presentation, and this fascination was all the stronger when we were able to try our hand at the title for almost an hour. But soon, players around the world will be able to discover this nugget on a whole host of media: in the meantime, the Massive Monster teams have concocted a special video which acts as a tutorial to erect the new fashionable religion.

Saved in extremis from a horrible death in a slaughterhouse, a lamb must build a real cult in honor of the one who allowed him to escape his tragic destiny. The principle is not obvious, and even less when you wear a look as adorable as that of this lamb. Nevertheless, the Massive Monster teams are already giving us the crucial steps to follow in order to welcome more and more followers into our ranks.
Through some gameplay images, Cult of The Lamb teaches us how to form a cult worthy of the name. First of all, you have to develop a solid first circle of followers and for that, you have to take up arms! The lands of the Old Belief are full of dungeons to explore where you’ll meet new followers while defeating the False Prophets that overshadow you. From there, all you have to do is enlist them and preach the good word — yours, of course — to them to strengthen you.
With that done, the next step is to make sure your followers stay that way.. To do this, you will have to be kind to them by feeding them, guiding them, rewarding them so that your sect continues to grow: remember, satisfaction rhymes with devotion. So yes, there will always be dissidents and it will be necessary to act quickly to prevent desertions from following one another. It’s up to you, therefore, to reason with the heretics or to sacrifice them, quite simply: you are the leader, after all!
