Cyberpunk 2077, the forgotten Cyberpunk 2077, surges in popularity in the aftermath of the release of ‘Edge Runner’

After the Netflix animation ‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ was released, the popularity of the original game ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ has risen significantly.

CD Project Red posted on Twitter this week that nearly one million new and returning players each day logged in and played Cyberpunk 2077. In addition, the post included an illustration of the protagonist ‘V’ from Cyberpunk 2077 and ‘David’ from Cyberpunk: Edge Runner pointing a gun together and thanking them.

On the other hand, Cyberpunk: Edge Runner is a work that has been well received for its various elements, such as the original’s dystopian atmosphere and detailed action scenes, attractive characters, and an immersive story.

However, Cyberpunk: Edge Runner has not yet been released on Netflix in Korea, so you cannot watch it in an official way. As of September 23rd, Cyberpunk: Edge Runner has not been submitted for review by the Video Rating Board, so it will take more time for it to be released to domestic Netflix users.
