This Dacia Duster convertible costs almost as much as a Volkswagen Golf GTI.
The Dacia Duster is a compact family SUV, offering an absolutely unbeatable price-performance ratio in the category. Certainly, the machine has progressed a lot since the first version. It now offers a well-equipped interior and a comfortable ride, in addition to the successful styling that has contributed to its success.
But this Duster has nothing to do with a luxury vehicle. Once passed through the workshop of the Romanian preparer AutoK9, however, this Duster becomes unrecognizable. Here it is transformed into a real convertible, with two doors and a large arch at the rear to stiffen the structure.
And the preparation pushes the detail of luxury and finishes quite far. We note for example the mat wood elements, like a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead or some boats. Note that the build is based on a first generation Duster, which was salvaged from a scrapyard and completely rebuilt. Total cost of preparation? About 30,000 euros all the same. With some additional refinements, the machine will cost the price of a Golf GTI … or the new T-Roc Cabriolet.
