FORT BOYARD 2020 – The game hosted by Olivier Minne will return to France 2 in a few weeks. Fort Boyard will undergo changes following the health crisis linked to the coronavirus.

[Mis à jour le 24 juin 2020 à 9h50] Only a few weeks to wait before the return of Fort Boyard. France 2’s game will return to the screen on July 11. For several weeks, the concern linked to the coronavirus left the teams in doubt, without knowing whether filming could start in Charente-Maritime or not. But the Olivier Minne show will liven up the Saturday evenings as usual, with many changes for this 2020 edition. Mister Boo has left the fort and Big Boo will have to intervene in the cage alongside Lady Boo and Little Boo. Viewers will discover new events in this Fort Boyard 2020, such as the Turbo Basket. There will also be something new: the mystical cabinet of Father Fouras’ old aunt. However, the Covid-19 epidemic will have consequences, since events that require physical contact have been abandoned for this year, such as fighting in the mud. Lhe teams that attack the fort are reduced. There will not be six candidates, as is usually the case, but five.

It is especially on the side of the characters of Fort Boyard that we should expect new things. Francis Lalanne and Vincent Lagaf ‘will not be back for this 31st season. “When I asked when filming would start, I was told that my character would not be in this season because of insurance” which “refuses to take on the risk associated with the Covid”, told the Parisian 61-year-old artist. Exit Narcisse Lalanne therefore, who however plans legal reprisals against insurance, “because it is discrimination”, and who should nevertheless be back for the 2021 edition of the game. Conversely, Magloire will be back, and Slam host Cyril Féraud will play a new character: Cyril Gossbo, a game show host for Father Fouras. As for the candidates, we know that the first team of this 2020 season at Fort Boyard will be made up of Tom Leeb, Camille Cerf, Clémence Botino, Claude Dartois and Booder. They will remain in front of the treasure room and will not walk the corridors of the fort, as is usually the case.
