On ‘Dirty wheat‘. the last work of David Mamet, any resemblance to reality is ‘not’ coincidental. The work, originally titled ‘Bitter Wheat‘features a ridiculously thick film producer and head of one of Hollywood’s great studios called Barney fine, and that “he dedicates his time to seducing beautiful artists, buying from the press and making films of no cultural interest.” The resemblance to Harvey Weinstein it is really unsubtle and probably the author – one of the essential names in American dramaturgy of the last decades – did not seek subtlety.
