Death of Roger Fite, emblematic forward of Brive – Fil Info – Top 14

Former Brive second or third row Roger Fite, who made 192 appearances for the Corrèze club in the 1960s and 1970s, has died at the age of 82, the club announced on Saturday. In the white and black jersey he wore between 1962 and 1975, Fite reached three finals of the French championship, all lost (1965, 1972, 1975). Fite was also selected twice with the XV of France, in the spring of 1963, for two successes against Italy (14-12) and Wales (5-3).
