The deal was concluded at the beginning of August but it is only today that we learned of the takeover of Delcambe shoes. It was bought by the French giant Besson Chaussures, whose headquarters is located 30 minutes from Frameries, in Louvroil in the Nord department. The CEO of Delcambe, Pierre Meunier, confirms the information: “The shareholder published the press release this Thursday. Besson Chaussures is a multi-brand brand, a bit like us which has 80% third-party brands. They contacted us because they wanted to settle in Belgium. It was a good opportunity.”
