The Philadelphia Eagles released wide receiver DeSean Jackson on Friday after spending two seasons with the team.
It was Jackson’s second stint with Pennsylvania, as she was the one who drafted him in 2008.
“Already looking forward to the next chapter,” wrote the 34-year-old athlete on his Instagram account, he who does not want to hang on his crampons immediately. “Biggest deep zone threat in NFL history!” Soon in a city near you! ”
Jackson has only been able to play eight games in the last two seasons, having been limited by numerous injuries. In 160 career games, mostly with the Eagles, but also with the Washington football team, formerly known as the Redskins, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he has amassed 10,656 aerial yards, in addition to registering 56 majors.
Several other Eagles players could suffer the same fate, as the team exceeds the salary cap by nearly $ 40 million.
