Despite the many criticisms, Georges-Louis Bouchez remains president of the Reform Movement

The eminences of the MR met on Monday at the party’s headquarters for their Political Bureau. At the center of the discussions: the governance of the party and more particularly the fate of the president, Georges-Louis Bouchez, severely contested after the announcement of the appointments to the federal government and an aborted reshuffle of the Walloon government.

A proposal to frame the president of four personalities of the party according to the levels of power concerned was on the table. And according to our information, the Montois remains president of the party despite the many criticisms of some of his colleagues.

It will be up to the parliamentarians of the MR to formalize, this Monday evening, during a meeting of the parliamentary intergroup, the way of organizing the governance of the party in the future.

More information in the next few minutes.
