Destiny 2: Bungie announces a collaboration with Assassin’s Creed | Xbox One

Bungie seems to have taken a liking to collaborations with other major video game licenses. If the pot of roses had been discovered by dataminers, it is now official, a new crossover will see the light of day between Destiny 2 et Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Ahead of the arrival of the next season of its MMO, the studio has just lifted the veil on its new partnership with the French publisher Ubisoft.

The Guardians will be able to defend the solar system with the style of the Assassins

As Destiny 2 prepares to complete its fifth year of life, Bungie is starting its communication around the next season, the nineteenth, which will be launched next Tuesday, December 6. It will not be known if the discoveries of the dataminers in the data of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have precipitated this announcement, but the two franchises will indeed unite at the end of the year. It was after the release of the latest Ubisoft game update that armor bearing the image of Shaxx and Saint-14 was discovered there. These allow Eivor to sport the colors of these two iconic Destiny characters.

The formalization by Bungie did not drag on and this new collaboration will take the same form as the previous one with Fortnite and Fall Guys. These are three new sets of armor ornaments that will be available in the Destiny 2 in-game store. Odyssey for hunters and Origins for arcanists. It will also be necessary to add a hull of spectrum, a ship and an exclusive sparrow.

As for cosmetic items, it will therefore be necessary to pay to obtain them, even if like the ornaments inspired by Fortnite, it will certainly be possible to obtain them as the season progresses against shiny dust, a Destiny 2 currency that can be acquired through play. All these new elements from the Assassin’s Creed universe will be available at the same time as season 19 on December 6 from 6 p.m.

Remember that Destiny 2 is an MMO FPS with a free-to-play part available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
