DGB Finance, donated 60 million won to children’s welfare for Family Month

DGB Financial Group announced on the 6th that it had donated 60 million won to the Daegu Social Welfare Community Chest at Sinsaengwon, a child welfare facility located in Sinseo-dong, Daegu, to commemorate the 11th anniversary of DGB Financial Group and to celebrate Family Month in May.

This activity was prepared as part of the ‘DGB Happy Dream Day’, a social contribution activity held annually in May when DGB Financial Group’s founding anniversary is celebrated and in September when Social Welfare Day is celebrated.

The donation was made with 1% of DGB Financial Group’s employees’ salaries and donations from affiliates, and it will be delivered to 52 social welfare facilities linked with 50 DGB companion volunteer groups to be used as a subsidy for the underprivileged.

In addition, we are expanding the scope of social contribution activities by donating to 9 social welfare facilities including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan, and Ulsan, not just in Daegu and Gyeongbuk.

In addition to delivering donations on this day, children’s sports competitions were held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Children’s Day, gifts were presented to commemorate Children’s Day, and snack booths were operated.

DGB Financial Group is operating the DGB Companion Volunteer Corps, DGB Family Volunteer Corps, DGB Financial Education Volunteer Corps, and Emergency Relief Volunteers for each region and headquarters, which were formed in February 2002 by the first employees in the financial sector. activities are being promoted.
