Dia Rashwan: The announced names of the National Dialogue Board of Trustees reflect the state of consensus

The journalist writer Diaa Rashwan, the general coordinator of the National Dialogue, confirmed that the announced names of the National Dialogue Board of Trustees reflect the state of consensus, and they are highly respected.

Rashwan said – in an exclusive statement to Extra News Channel today, Sunday – that this diversity in terms of reference and orientations in ideas reflects the state of Egyptian society, adding: The Board of Trustees is a coordinating board to manage the dialogue, especially since the national dialogue is multi-axes and stages, and there must be a process Organizational for these axes, so that they are distributed to large specialized committees and also sub-committees if there is what is worth for some issues, and there are also sessions for experts who will hold their meetings in order to give their opinion in order to reach an agreement.

Rashwan indicated that the Board of Trustees will submit to it the preliminary outputs of the committees in order to decide the final decision on them, in that they will be fully agreed upon or there will be disagreement over them, and their outputs will be submitted within the outcomes of the dialogue to the President of the Republic.

He explained that the date for the start of the national dialogue scheduled for the first week of July is in place, and the Egyptian public opinion will soon announce how to start the dialogue in addition to its agenda in the coming period.

He said that the agenda will be subject to the meeting of the Board of Trustees in order to agree on the procedures of the process because the dialogue is very broad in its topics, pointing out that the dialogue will include dozens and hundreds of other names of respect and weight as well, each in its field.

He stressed that there is not a single political force, a single party or a single union in Egypt that has refused dialogue.
