Digital audio: record number of brands present in the first half of 2021 according to Kantar

Impressions are on the rise again for digital audio in the first half of 2021, according to data from Kantar. After a controlled decrease of -1% in H1 2020 compared to H1 2019, impressions increased by + 17% between H1 2021 and H1 2020.
Kantar has 344 advertisers, the highest number recorded since 2019 (307). 6 top 10 advertisers come from distribution, including 4 from the top 6. Concentration is increasing since the top 10 accounts for 43% of the activity vs. 35% in 2020.
