Focused on the Renault, Alpine, Dacia and Mobilize brands, Renault’s revolution will consist of 13 new electric models, including a return of the R5.
Presented this January 14, the new Renault strategic plan extends until 2025 or even beyond. By this time, the group wants to launch 13 new 100% electric models within a 4-brand strategy.
Renault 5 returns to electric
5 new models will be within the Renault brand. Two will occupy segment B, the new R5 in 2023 and R4 in 2025. The electric Mégane will enter the compact segment (C), followed by a second model at the end of 2023.
Three utilities will complete the current offer, the Kangoo ZE in 2022, then two new ones in 2024. The objective is to reach 30% of sales in 100% electric by 2025.
3 Electric Alpine confirmed, and a new car-sharing brand
At Alpine, the electric 3 will illustrate the slogan “Avant-Garde”. The group gives only three illustrations, including a compact that could be a sport version of the Mégane. The other two are an SUV with X-shaped optics and a sporty cousin of the current A110.
Finally, a new brand arrives, that of shared mobility. Called Mobilize, it will initially have the Dacia Spring in its ranks. An electric sedan will follow in 2022, then in 2023 a small 2-seater city car, a reinterpretation of the Twizy. Finally, in 2024, a utility close to EZ-Flex program will complete the offer.
We do not forget Dacia, which confirms the new logo that we presented to you exclusively. Apart from the Spring Electric, no other electric is on the program. However, we are waiting for details on the hybrid side with 3 models to come.
