Through a manifesto, which also involves two African baritones from the choirs, these artists have raised the debate on diversity and racial discrimination within the tercentenary institution. A debate that has been making waves since last summer. Opera director Alexander Neef himself commissioned a report on diversity within the institution which should be submitted to him before publication. .
