Since they began their relationship, including the years they had been married, Carmen Villalobos and Sebastián Caicedo have exceeded a decade. During that time, they formed one of the most stable couples in entertainment.

Many of their fans insistently asked them about when they were going to have a child, because every day they proved to be more in love. However, becoming parents was not among their priorities.

In an interview with hello usathe actress also remembered for her role as Catalina Santana in Without breasts, there is paradise, once said that: “Those plans are only decided by God.” However, she never denied that sometimes they made her want to become a mother, but that at other times she preferred to keep her calm without that great responsibility. “That question is very complicated because sometimes one gets excited and says ‘how delicious’, other times I don’t feel like it completely. Then again I see it again and say ‘mmmm, why not?’ I see my friends with babies and I say maybe yes.
However, the actors understood that due to their professions it was not easy or simple to take care of a baby, so, for this reason, they preferred to have pets, which became an important part of their home. “I have three furry blessings and I think that with puppies it is difficult, imagine with real babies. I don’t know, the last word only has God”.

Through their YouTube channel, Carmen and Sebastián also explained that having children was a very big responsibility and that, for now, they did not feel completely convinced that they were parents.
