Alejandro Riaño, one of the most important comedians in the country, announced that he has been thinking about firing his iconic character, ‘Juanpis González‘, an upper-class young man who has a guest show and starred in a series on Netflix. When will it be the end?
The comedian in October 2021 revealed in an interview with EL TIEMPO that one of his plans was to end his performance.
However, there is no exact date, as Riaño assures that it is not entirely a fact. He still has to finish the tour of his Christmas show and other projects that he has in mind.
“In Colombia we are already finishing it with the three cities that we have left, because there are some that we do not return to, which are Cali, Medellín, Barranquilla, Pereira, Manizales and Armenia that we have already been to and we are missing Pasto, Cúcuta and Popayán. We already started our tour of the United States, Central America, Europe and hopefully Australia. As soon as I finish this last one, on the other side of the world, I finish the character, ”he said in an interview with the ‘HSB News’ portal.

Once the character has finished, Alejandro Riaño also said that he does not leave forever, because it may appear “every four years, with at least one presidential debate.”
In fact, ‘Juanpis González’ wants to get to interview the Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro.
“I’m a little tired of being on the screens and I’m giving the character a nice death to start working from behind, which is what I really like,” he concluded.
