Driving: Simona De Silvestro returns to Indianapolis

Long established near Lausanne, Simona De Silvestro will be back on May 30th with the legendary Indianapolis oval and its 500 Miles.

Simona De Silvestro will participate at the most famous car racing in the IT’SUnited States, May 30.

Official Porsche driver in the ADAC GT Masters, reserve driver in Formula E: Swiss Simona De Silvestro, 32, will also take part, on May 30, in the most famous of the car races in the IT’SUnited States, the Indianapolis 500.

Long established on the Coast, Simona De Silvestro had signed her finest exploits at IT’SUnited States, first in Formula Atlantic (victory at Long Beach in 2008, third in the championship the following year with four victories), then in IndyCar in 2010, when it was notably crowned “Rookie of the year ”, beginner of the year, during the famous 500 Miles.

To the IT’SUnited States until 2015, she then tasted Formula E, before moving to Australia, for races in the “supercars” class.

In May, she will wear the colors of a new team (Paretta Autosport), a team technically supported by one of the giants of American motorsport, the Penske team.
