dynabook is updating its product portfolio. For its notebooks, they now also rely on the 11th generation Intel Core in almost all series. The Satellite Pro L50-J and Tecra A30-J are included. However, both series are not necessarily aimed at the average private customer, but primarily at business users, schoolchildren and students.
With a weight from 1.2 kg (Tecra A30-J) or from 1.7 kg (Satellite Pro L50G-J) and battery life of up to 14 hours, the notebooks with updated chips should now pick up customers. The main area of application is office use. USB Type-C, HDMI and microSD are available as interfaces. The port for USB Type-C can also be used to charge the battery.
The Tecra A30-J and the Satellite Pro L50-J each have three USB 3.1 ports. The optionally available USB Type-C docking station provides enhanced connectivity. The wired connection to the Internet is established by both model series through a Gigabit LAN connection. The Tecra A30-J series and the Satellite Pro L50-J series transmit wirelessly via WiFi 6 (802.11ax). Otherwise, a webcam with 2 megapixels and a microphone are included. You can connect your own headset to the 3.5 mm microphone / headphone combo output as well as via Bluetooth.
A firmware-based Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM) should ensure security. A fingerprint scanner is also available. To protect against physical theft, the devices have an optional slot for a security lock. In addition, the Tecra A30-J and the Satellite Pro L50-J have an optional smart card slot that can act as an additional security mechanism.
Prices and availability? Dynabook doesn’t say anything about this at the moment.
