E3 2023 Annual Gaming Show Has Been Canceled

Annual Gaming Show E3 2023 has been cancelled after several days of confusion over which publishers were supposed to attend the festival. News of the cancellation came to companies and journalists via an email sent by the organizer of the ESA event.

The show was scheduled to return as an actual event during the summer at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Even more discouraging in this situation is that this year E3 was hailed as a grand comeback after the coronavirus pandemic, which caused the festival’s physical format to be canceled for several years in a row.

The exhibition was also supposed to be a debut for some of the organizers, but a wave of trouble began when Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony announced that they would not take part in the event for various reasons.

Considering that these are the Big Three console manufacturers, this circumstance turned out to be a blow to the organizers of the exhibition. However, even sadder prospects for the festival began to look after the French company Ubisoft also canceled his performance due to internal studio problems. After the French, the Asian corporations Sega and Tencent also refused to participate. Whether E3 will eventually be held in the format of a digital show, as it was during the pandemic, is still unknown.
