Egyptian website: An Israeli page uses a famous Egyptian YouTuber to question the October victory

Al-Marsad newspaper: The “Israel Speaks Arabic” page on Facebook used one of the videos of Egyptian YouTuber Reham Ayyad, when responding to a follower.

As for the current controversy that brought Reham Ayyad back into the spotlight again, the Israel page that speaks Arabic used an episode of Reham’s program “The Story and What Is In It,” which was talking about the October 1973 victory, when the latter underestimated the Egyptians’ victory in the war, in conjunction with the Egyptians’ victory in the war. The 49th anniversary of the October victory, according to the Egyptian Sada El-Balad website.

Reham Ayyad’s episode was entitled “Have we won the October War?”, where the Israeli page used the link of the episode to respond to a follower’s comment saying: “Happy Victory Day.”

The Arabic-speaking Israel page also responded to the comments of Facebook followers regarding their celebration of the anniversary of the October victory, saying: “If it was a victory, as you claim, President Sadat would not have needed to visit Israel, no one would visit his opponents if he was really weak.”

Reham Ayyad started her episode of October Victory, in which she talked about some facts about the war: “We really won the October War? This question is not from Egyptians or Arabs only, but it is a global question.”

The Egyptian YouTuber said: “After the tripartite aggression against Egypt in 1956, a settlement was made with the Israeli side, and the latter gained many gains, through the passage of Israeli navigation and trade from the Strait of Tiran, but on May 22, 1967, President Abdel Nasser closed the Gulf of Aqaba in the face of The Israelis, against the background of the battle that broke out between them and the Syrian forces, and the Israeli side managed to shoot down 7 Syrian planes in one hour, so everyone knows about the war, including President Abdel Nasser.

Reham Ayyad did not stop at this question, but asked another question in a previous episode: “Did Sadat lose the right of the Arabs to Camp David?”
