In the statement, the members of this group assured that the general results show that “Colombians have decreed the end of the Uribismo era, as well as ratified their desire for change in Colombia and their resounding rejection of the government of lván Duque and the parties politicians who accompanied him”.

They added that the government program presented by Fajardo and his vice-presidential formula, Luis Gilberto Murillo, “contains the democratic transformations that Colombia needs, proposals for which we will continue fighting.”

The text, which was released by former Interior Minister Juan Fernando Cristo, concluded with a thank you to the Colombians who supported them at the polls.

The document was signed by Sergio Fajardo, Luis Gilberto Murillo, Carlos Amaya, Juan Fernando Cristo, Humberto de la Calle, Juan Manuel Galán, Alejandro Gaviria, Jorge Enrique Robledo, Berenice Bedoya, Jhon Arley Murillo and Juan Manuel Ospina.
