However, those people who have managed to go viral worldwide by becoming a meme have something in common: all have claimed to be victims of bullying, because society has pigeonholed them in its comic rhetoric.

That is the case of Elizabeth Ogazwho became famous throughout the continent, when in 2019 the controversy over the ex-wife of Sergio Jadue, former president of the National Professional Football Association of Chile, was uncovered: He gave his opinion in a television interview and went viral just for mispronouncing the word ‘victim’ and saying ‘victim’ instead.

Since then, she has been constantly stalked by citizens who recognize her when they see her on the streets and make off-color comments, ask for photos, and even go so far as to physically assault her.

“The things they say hurt me. My diabetes worsened, my self-esteem dropped, so it hurts me that they bother me because I don’t hurt anyone, ”she added to the ‘Viva la Poli’ program.

For his part, her husband has mentioned that he has had to put up with the outrages of people in the streets: “I have to accompany her (Ogaz), my wife has cried a lot because of the situation.”

A new beginning

Although the first two years were a martyrdom for Mrs. Elizabeth, she has managed to get used to the fame that her iconic phrase has given her. She has shown this in several events of personalities of the digital universe that she has attended as one of the guests of honor.

In August 2021, she was one of the presenters of the ‘Giga Awards’, an event that brings together the best digital creators in Chile to give them recognition for their work.
