According to a report by the German newspaper Bilt, Mr. Abramovic met with former German Prime Minister Gerhard Schroeder in Moscow on the 10th, ahead of a meeting with President Putin.

A source told Archyde.com that Abramovich and Schroeder had met and that Abramovich was looking for ways to stop the fighting in Ukraine.

The European Union (EU) is moving to seize assets such as villas and luxury yachts owned by an emerging conglomerate close to President Putin as it tightens sanctions against Russia.
