The Emirati General Ahmed Naser al Raisi, accused of torture, was elected this Thursday president of Interpol in the assembly that this international organization of police cooperation celebrates in Istanbul.

“Ahmed Naser al Raisi of the United Arab Emirates has been elected to the position of President (for a period of four years)“Interpol announced on its Twitter account.
