Far from the fourteen hours spent in 2019 strolling among Saler cows or Savoy cheeses, the Head of State will have made an express visit of barely two hours to talk to an agricultural world worried by tensions. ongoing geopolitics. Before a defense council in the afternoon and a phone call to his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, in the early morning, the president will nevertheless have devoted part of his schedule to going to the “largest farm in France”, yielding to the political ritual.
