On November 24, Emmanuel Macron announced a relaxation of the measures in force in France to fight against the Coronavirus. From November 28, non-essential businesses could reopen their doors in France. All with a sanitary protocol that reduces the number of authorized customers per store.
And the least we can say is that the French were eager to go to their favorite stores. Even before the opening of some Primark stores, many shoppers were waiting in front of the sign. Even after the opening, the lines continued to lengthen in the cities of Marseille, Toulouse, Strasbourg and Lille in particular. Some customers even stood in line for several hours to get into the store.
As a reminder, non-essential shops can reopen their doors tomorrow, Tuesday December 1, in Belgium. Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke however clarified that “ if the mayors do not manage to enforce the distances in the shopping streets, they cannot allow the stores to reopen their doors ”.
