“The priority in solar is to cover the roofs”
The potential of photovoltaic solar technology makes it possible to achieve the objectives set by the Federal Council for 2050, according to Jean-Louis Scartezzini, professor at EPFL.
Jean-Louis Scartezzini is Professor and Director of the Solar Energy and Building Physics Laboratory at EPFL. He co-signed, within the framework of the Energy Commission of the Swiss Academies of Sciences, a report exploring the avenues that will ensure “net zero emissions” of CO2 and security of energy supply in 2050.
