Given that the Norwegian soccer team, where “El Androide” plays, did not qualify for the World Cup, the group known as “The Robins” made a formal offer to Manchester City in order for the striker to keep up with the game: “we want to help the club keep Erling in shape, it makes more sense than him playing golf for six weeks,” says the club’s official statement.
The squad from the north of England received a positive response from the Sky Blues, that will be given to the player on loan for the duration of the World Cup. Once the top soccer tournament for national teams ends, the Scandinavian will play again with the citizens.
